I wasn't abstaining from food, drink and game so long as the sun shines for the next month.
Thanks to amazing timing, the day I got back from KLIMUN was the beginning of Ramadhan, the month in the Islamic calender when all able Muslims partake in fasting from dawn to dusk. The food and drink aspects are compulsory (no shit, Sherlock) but since last year, I've taken it upon myself to abstain from gaming during these times as well. I don't really regret taking up this practice, figuring that it's in the spirit of the whole thing and all, but it does lead to extended periods of boredom when I have absolutely nothing interesting to do (no, I can't entertain myself through 'other' avenues either).
But in the end, it's just another set of trials and tribulations to endure. Such is life. I've been told once by my sister that I tend to adapt easily to these things, so I'm thinking of whiling away my time by taking care of those darn (no swearing either (wait, does shit count as an expletive? >.>
